  • A healthy diet to help aid their physical and mental growth into strong and able adults.
  • And a safe and supportive base from which they can rely on, to guide them into adulthood.

Sadly, the truth is, so many children do not have these basic rights and suffer in silence with no hope of help.

What We Do

Our Purpose

Our purpose at Khulisa Abantwana is a simple one;

We provide the vital support lacking for disadvantaged children to give them the bright futures they too deserve.

In order to achieve our goals, we have chosen to focus our efforts on a few child support services in Du Noon, our local disadvantaged township.

Currently we support the following schools in DuNoon;

  • one nursery
  • one special needs school
  • one primary school.

We are also looking to ;

  • provide support to a local high school, as well as
  • open a soup kitchen to feed those children who have fallen through the cracks and are in no education and
  • build safe and engaging play areas for the children to play in and enjoy being carefree, whilst building gross and minor motor skills.

We aim for our support to also familiarise and connect the children of Dunoon with all the different and exciting job and life opportunities available to them, that they may never have known about otherwise. Our efforts will bring together our communities and uplift us all into a much brighter and positive rainbow future.

Our charity is aimed at anyone who wants to be a part of the change! ALL our funds go to caring for the children, so no hidden costs here. What you donate goes to those who need it most.

OUR STORY

How Khulsa Abantwana was born

In 2024, Cindy, a local mommy, fed up with seeing so much suffering in her town, decided to visit Du Noon and go and talk to some of the local nurseries and schools, to see what they need and how she could help.

What Cindy witnessed changed her life. The ladies she met that day, who look after the children of Du Noon are just the most incredible humans! All these women go over and beyond their duties to their children, by investing their own time, money and love into providing the support these children deserve. Each place was utilising the resources they had to the best of their abilities, but without any support for them, struggled to provide their children with much of the basic support they deserve.
